What's up with the Forum?

Woody,

The forum has been super slow today...problems with the server there?

Also I noticed for a while now, you read a post, go on to the next message and the one you just read says new still...even more annoying is when you read all the messages and when you come back to the main forum they all say new again! It does appear to be intermittent as to whether it happens or not.

What's going on?

It's been happening to me too. Hardly a problem though because the messages I've read still change colour, just remeber the number of replies and bingo the forum still rocks. Cheers

re. the speed thing - i haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary. most likely your isp connection.

re. the new thing - that's a problem at your end. try clicking the 'Mark All Read' link at the bottom of the main page, to reset your visitor cookie.

Errr!! or not as it 'appens. Problem solved on the OT forum but not on this one aber es ist kein problem fur mich. Danke und gutten nacht. (Sorry, don't know what happened then).

I think what Mr Fish is trying to say is that didn't fix it...clears it all but starts happening again soon after.

Speed wise, theonly speed issues were going in to the forum, all other sites wereat super dooper broadband speed...seems ok now though.

I had a similar problem a while back
and it was due to me using the back key/arrow
instead of back to topic or back to top
