You are able to import adult DVDs as long as the content does not exceed what is deemed acceptable under current R18 guidelines ()

I'm going to be just a bit pedantic - what you said is

incorrect.
Customs have a different set of rules and don't really follow R18 guidelines.
Unless you mean 'just normal sex'.
For example, the Angel Long virtual sex dvd has been quashed by the BBFC, but I think that it will get through customs. Customs I don't think will mind if she role plays pupil and headmaster.
What customs have on their site is misleading.

I brought it in Amsterdam. Vicki Powell is first class in it. I also purchased double decker sandwhich 2 and internal cumbustion 3, All VP films.
