Reliabilities a Two Way Thing...

People on this forum are always going on about the reliability of models and performers so I thought they'd like to know about something which happened to me last night when an organiser of a photoshoot decided not to show up.

I'd received an email from a about doing an unpaid "dogging" shoot for a forthcoming website. I was free so thought it would be fun and the model looked nice (Polish I think).

The email clearly stated I had to be at a specific location by 10.00pm and look out for the car & model.

So off I trekked, taking over an hour to drive my place to the location upon a cold winter's night.

I arrived a little before 10.00pm and waited. No one showed.

10.15pm : no one showed
10.30pm : no one showed.
11.00pm : still no one showed.
11.15pm : getting bored now - no one showed.

At 11.30pm, I decided the organiser of this photoshoot wasn't showing up and left.

If a model had been this late, they would have been lambasted on here and other places for their behaviour but because it's the photoshoot organisers who is late, he expects me to simply say nothing.

Today I received an email rant which basically says how dare I complain or ask for an apology the "running late" (since when has running late meant 90 minutes??) and other comments which I won't post here.

And who was the organiser? Five letters - starts with "C"

And people wonder why the UK Porn scene's viewed as a joke by many in the States.

Well Harry it happens...BUT all is not lost, I understand from my good friend The Pussy Prowler that he is about to start shooting his new series of nightime dogging films, the best in the world without a doubt, and the ones that started the whole scene! Hi Harry, know how you feel, but it is a two-way thing. I had a shoot arranged for this weekend and the model cancelled on Friday night. Now I have had to cancel the studio and was also borrowing a Hasselblad. Have to sort this out. The studio is ok as they are getting their money, the model does not think she has done anything wrong. Now the models quietly complain to the amateur photographers if you book them through an agency as there is the commission business, but let you down when you book them direct. Now this is the second time this year and it is a pain.
Now some time ago another model told me she had never let down a photographer, because particularly with amateurs there were other things to occupy there spending money and went on to say that for ?190.00 a photographer could have a great weekend flights, accommodation and spending money in the south of France with Ryan Air or Easy Jet, and once a photographer moves away from Adult they rarely come back.
So at present I have four folio?s of models and this will no longer be increased I have four cities and various other bits and pieces for the website I am having built, but I will not be booking any further models for the foreseeable future. After thinking about it, a weekend in France, for the cost of a three-hour Glamour shoot, sounds better value

I'd take the trip to France. Was going to Nice this weekend, until the temps dropped like a stone. Today you're looking at a high of 4C and below freezing at night. Next month they should pick up a bit, unlike most UK models who'll remain cold in the heart throughout the year.
