Since the forums have been split, it seems that on the BG and Promo forums there seems to be a total lack of humour & tolerance.

Anyone that knows me is aware that I love to fuck about and not take life (or especially myself) too seriously. But recently I have made a few comments - drunk,sober and indifferent and I have received replies and private emails ranging from - scorn/sarcasm/bitterness & an actual threat of violence upon my poor old battered body.

Where have all the flowers gone? ( NO! I do not mean Jim the thistle)

I am in serious conference with the Rt.Hon.J.Walker,Esq.MA(Hons)Dypso (my esteemed partner) rather earlier than usual and we have reached a stage whereby this post is necessary. - in case you wondered!

Sure, to the pro's it is a competetive biz, but it doesn't have to be handbags at dawn - better just to have a drink and a chat. OR ignore each other and simply get on with biz.

For what its worth, the lack of humour on the aforementioned forums Marcus mentioned, is one of the reasons stalwart forumites refrane from posting their own brand of humour to enlighten a subject when its gets too serious.
