Max`s Wild World-not in database

Three or four years ago Swedish satellite channel TV1000 showed the above series of flms featuring many British girls. Thousands of UK viewers had cards for this channel. I have two or three of these films tucked away somewhere. Off the top of my head I can only remember Gilly Sampson and Sam(receptionist from Ben Dover) but there were more. The format was similar to Ben Dover except Max was multilingual and went all over Europe and Russia doing the "chat up a total stranger in the street" routine. They are not listed on this site. Can anyone else remember them?

yes..i remember the good days of tv1000..josie woods{bgafd}was in one of maxs films..outside a shop in northampton..i think she was also in a ben film washing her car.,i bloody miss tv1000......

One of these is listed - for Josie Wood and Jeany Bukes as Joe's Wild World - Hunting for Beaver. A couple of vidcaps and the title as just stated were posted in the newsgroup alt.fan.televisionx nearly two years ago. Please could you dig out your films and check the title and the casts. If we have the title wrong we will correct it and if there are more British girls we will list them. We can only list films if we have seen them or if people tell us about them - and we can't watch everything.

Alec, I think on reflection the guy was called Joe not Max. And I definately remember the scene in Northampton which farmerted mentions. There was also a scene with a blonde in one of the London parks. I will dig the tapes out if my brother hasnt taken them and post brief synopses here if thats OK. TV1000 also used to show excerpts from films before the main feature and some of these were from the Joe/Max series. This magazine program hosted by Ylva Marie Thompson was abrubtly axed after a watersports scene with Ciccolina was shown.
