Why pay for porn?

Evenin' people,

Slight dillema here. Picture yourself as someone who likes porn (difficult, I know). You have broadband internet access. You know of several places you can download a siginificant amount of free porn movies and pics from. However, you like porn and wish to support the industry. So what do you do?

Porn on the internet bugs me. Not cos there's so much of it, just that it's so in your face and crude in it's delivery. It seems to cater for the lowest common denominator male. Someone too thick to realise that they're going to be ripped off with their credit card, someone too pig ignorant to realise they'd be downloading dialler software etc etc.

So what to do?

There are people on this forum who obviously wish to increase membership of their sites. I understand that. However I like it here cos blatant self promotion hardly ever goes on. People are credited with the know-how to find their sites and join if they wish. Net porn is going to shoot itself in the foot unless it backs off a bit and stops getting in people's faces so much.

You wish to support the industry. You don't wish to support the crass and often dumbed down world of internet pornography.

My question: what would YOU do?

Internet porn is crap. I prefer to watch a good old VHS tape. I also find the posts from webmasters of porn sites very annoying.

My own rant for all to read.............

While were on the subject of how porn is delivered on the 'net, one of the MOST annoying things is the amount of unsolicited emails that are flying around, and does no favours to anyone! My parents, with whom I still reside, have email accounts and although their own offspring(me) is a porn supporter/fanatic(especially of Our Wendy and Rebekah, WAHEY!) THEY still get lots of junk emails with all sorts of bizarre porn stuff, which only stokes the fire of the porn opposition camp.
In my opinion, it will always be one of the hardest things to try and sort out as anyone with a camera and a willing body will be able to turn out porn on the net and then plague people who do not wish to be involed with pornography, as there are nowhere near the same financial restaints put onto a amatuer porn website, as there is on the likes of Phil, Ben, Remmington and the likes!!
So until we sort this out I think that we will certainly suffer from the scenario of "The few spoiling it for the many" as once again the media will always latch onto the corruption of the innocents angle to sell their wares!!

Is there an answer, proabaly Yes.
Will it be easy though, most deinitely No!

Just for the record, why do a minority of porn webmasters think they'll ever win a customer by bashing people over the head with heavy-duty Java-programmed pop-ups that mean you can never leave? I don't mean the odd one - fair enough - I mean the ones which invariably mean you have to quit before the browser practically crashes? I cannot imagine anyone is so stupid to say "ah well I'm stuck here better give them my credit card"?

Or am I overestimating them?
