What the hell are you on? Paid? By whom?
I?ve NEVER HEARD SUCH UTTER NONSENSE IN MY LIFE!
Surely, this is just an attempt to troll?
I mean, honestly? How Fucking Rude Can You Get ?
Everyone, whose pics appear on that site, gave their time, energy and images, 100% FOR FREE!
(Look at the entry for ?Sadie?, If you need further proof)
Lets look at the FACTS for a moment, shall we ?
Fact: There is No entry fee.
Fact: You are not even asked for your email address.
Fact: There are NO Pop-Ups, Banner Ads or ?cash-4-clicks?? That?s NOT My style?
Fact: You do not find yourself, at another site, when you leave.
Fact: There are a grand total of only 4 ?Promotional? links, upon the entire site. Let?s look at them each in detail.
Link 1: TVX? The series is screened on TVX. Surely, with a national satellite channel, and over 36 Monthly mens-mag?s to blast out their URL with already? A few hits from my sites neither here nor there in the overall scheme of things? ? Rest Assured, they certainly wont be be paying me a penny?
Link 2: My FREE UK INFORMATIONAL site? I make no money from that I can assure you?
Link 3: Brett Tracy?s Site? He?s a new guy in the business, and he has a very small, promotional site, with which to tout for some more work, of the same nature? No offence 2 Brett, but hardly big-bucks? Again, ZERO Money for me there?
And finally,
Link 4: ?THATGUYINTHECORNER? He?s the guy who took all the pics, and programmed all the site up, from scratch, All For Free? CHRIST, HE MADE THE WHOLE THING POSSIBLE ! Without him, the site wouldn?t even exist ! As Such, should he then be denied, a mere 3 pages, with which to advertise, A FREE website information and advice service ???
So you tell me? Whereabouts? does my ?Getting Paid? fit in ?

If you are gonna argue along the lines of: ?Yes, but by putting it up for free, you may then by default, raise your profile slightly higher in the UK? Then perhaps yes? Guilty as charged ! A most heinous of all crimes, I?m sure? But, to suggest that I am being ?Paid?, and as such I am directly financially benefiting, from this site? Is nothing short of an insult, and a kick in the teeth, to both myself, and also (Perhaps more importantly) too EVERYONE Else, Who gave their time for free, in order to make a free site possible?

Lets double-check with the BGAFD?s resident webmasters? Come on Krome, TM Video, etc? What?s Your Verdict ??? Please tell the forum, if there is ANY referrals, hidden bugs, or anything whatsoever, upon the site, which could enable me to be being ?Paid? in any way from this site?


So, why is it there? Why is it free? What?s the deal? Well, it is as I originally said? A genuinely free site, for the fans. A ?concept? site, if you like. Something that?s NOT USUALLY DONE ! INFACT, EXACTLY As I said? SOMETHING FOR NOTHING?
And?funnily enough, Magoo... YES it IS just to do fans a favor, actually? And with comments like yours, not only do I wonder why I bother, but I can see other people not bothering again in the future.

So, Am I Pissed Off ? YES, AS A MATTER OF FACT? I FUCKING WELL AM!

BOTTOM LINE: If you don?t like me, or my site, that?s fine. Don?t watch my movies, don?t visit my sites. HOWEVER, whatever your opinion is of me? DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT, DO NOT EVER PUBLICALLY SUGGEST THAT I AM FINACIALLY BENIFITTING, OFF OF THE BACKS OF MY INDUSTRY COLLEGES, WHO WERE GOOD ENOUGH TO WORK FOR FREE, IN ORDER TO GIVE PEOPLE SUCH AS YOURSELF? Sorry to everyone else on the forum, for my having to post the above, but I tried to do something nice for you lot? Like the photos, of myself and Jessie, recently posted by Phil K, which I sent? But when Mr Magoo comes along, and makes an accusation, like he has, especially when under the circumstances, A lot of people, have put a lot of work, time and effort into enabling the site to happen, and in order for it TO BE FREE? I know that I need to clarify it, ASAP?
Sorry for being that bit different, and to attempt, (In my own, smal way) to "break-the-mould" in order to bring you a site, that?s not only (I belive) A quality peice of work?
BUT ALSO... 100% FREE AS WELL !

There are some of us who do appreciate what you've have done, but this jerk is obviously so fucking cynical he believes that everyone out there is out to make a fast buck off of everybody else. Wake up & smell the coffee pal, there are actually some people out there that aren't out to screw everybody over. Have some faith in human nature for a change.

you are right layla,but i cant help thinking that mr.magoos comment was just a throwaway comment allbeit ill advised and not very thoughtfull.your contributions are indeed very welcome and it must be very hurtfull to be accused of somthing underhanded.but the fact you have top posted this matter rather than deal with it in its ofiginal post means you are trying to prove to everyone how wronged you feel in an attept to shame or force people to attack mr magoo, and allready hattertim has duely obliged. it was ljust one persons opinion,and probably the only opinion that considred it an issue in the first place.so making a song and dance about it isnt neccessary as we all appreciated you and your freind efforts and dont neccessaraly share mr maggoos opinion on any matter ,we all have our own oppinions.so in the end im sure you can see there is no need to make an issue of somthing that concerns only you and mr magoo.
on a personal note i would like to say that your new look is very flattering and much prefered.so thats it. dont be offended layla ,its not needed here as your very wll liked by all ,including mr magoo,as you will know from the rest of his post.

Yes, fair enough... however, allow me to pick up on the only point in your post, which I disagree with.

Well, that?s my point... The issue of Me RECIEVING PAYMENT, in some way from the site, DOSNT only concern myself, and mr magoo.
It also concerns Jessie J, Ashly, Brett Tracey, Sadie, Jack The Producer, Rico, The Make-Up artist, & "ThatGuyInTheCorner" as well as certain other people, whom again, although behind the scenes, worked entirely for free.
I'm sure that all of the people I have just listed, would be more than just a little bit interested if, after their having just worked 4 free... They then thought I was earning, from their kind efforts...
Perhaps as you said, it was merely an off-hand remark ? yes, possibly... However, if I were to use the Phrase "attempted slander"...
Well, I'm NOT using it, nor am I making allegations that this was the case either, but it did concern me enough, to ensure that I sat down, and fully clarified the situation.
I simply posted it as a new topic, as in my opinion, it warranted it, as many people, other than myself, were involved in it.
I most certainly did NOT do it in order to make an attack on mr magoo, or to turn anyone against anyone... See my recent post, on the way the forums going at present... Certainly nothing negative in that...

From this person's point of view... the site is TOO FREE!! LOL! I love to earn a buck or two when I can (and as folks have kindly pointed out I try to get the great bunch of ya'll who visit BGAFD to visit my site)...

This is a great way to advertise Layla and her new series but the only ones who would really make money off it would be TVX as they are making the series with Layla... But it still makes the site FREE... no cash exchanged in the visiting of it.

Anyway... Layla... as ever you know you have my support!!

Now as for "thatguyinthecorner"... what does he really do in the corner while watching these things being made!!??? LOL!!

It sounds like authentic Layla to me. Why do you doubt it?

I'm as cynical as the next man, but I think Layla is a very genuine and generous person. A few months ago she emailed me some nice pics personally, she had absolutely no need to do it, but she had promised to do it and she kept her promise.

By the way Layla (if you are reading this!) I would love to see that scene with you, Jessie, and Lex Steele which you described earlier. Even the description was enough to get me reaching for the Kleenex! Do you know what the vid title will be?

To Layla,

After my inspection of the site I can not see how you are directly making any cash from it. He could maybe argue that some parties will prosper from it, but lets face facts probably not enough to even buy a beer. If anything you will lose money due to the bandwidth bill, but that is up to you. I always put banners on the my free sites to recoup this loss.

It more looks like just a free site with some great pictures on that is being run to promote the new series. I do not think you will make anything from it, in my opinion you will lose when your host charges you for the bandwidth used.
