Every day I read Luke Ford's website. It's almost like the original blog but take things said on the site with a pinch of salt and you get a flavour of what's happening in the World of porn California style.

I run into Suzy Mandel, who starred in 1981's Blonde Ambition and appeared naked in several porn movies (though she never had sex on camera). She's working as an assistant to Jennifer James.

Thanks for that link - brilliant site - and thanks to John.h2 for mentioning Suzy. I've always been a fan and have seen everything she mentions. She also had a non-sex part in John Lindsay's Health Farm.

Suzy once again says she had a body double in Blonde Ambition but there seems to have always been some doubt about that. There was a b/j for starters - difficult to do with a double! Also something about a small tattoo or body marking visible in some of the h/c shots - can't remember the details. I've always wanted to get hold of the h/c cut to judge for myself but haven't managed it yet. (I think Alec once pointed me in the right direction but I couldn't follow it up at the time.)

I have a permanently etched-in mental picture of Suzy's skirt being blown up around her waist by the tuba player in the brass band sketch on the Benny Hill Show!

I?ve seen the full h/c version of Blonde Ambition, and she does indeed use a body double, its hilariously obvious in some scenes!!!
