Strikes me that there is a fair amount of slanging taking place, both on the forums and off them.

All seems a bit pointless really as nothing is resolved. However, bitterness and grudges are harboured to the detriment of all concerned.

I suggest warring parties either shoot each other, get drunk together, or forget the whole thing.

Marcus makes a very valid point, in all seriousness.

For an industry that should be all about good, honest fun and frolics there isn't half a load of old backbiting, gossiping and airing of dirty laundry in public at times.

Speaking personally, I love shooting naked ladies and that about does it for me, thanks very much I care about shooting my product and pleasing people that like it, not who said what, and when and to who.

I like the idea (I think Jim Slip mentioned it) of having a booze up occasionally. It would certainly maybe get a better sense of community going.

Not a members-only meeting, but a simple get together with a few sherries, some food (a chicken korma and i'm happy) and a nice, friendly social atmosphere for producers old and new.

I'd love to get to know the more established producers like Jim, Marcus, Terry etc, but in a relaxed, friendly situation, where there's no egos, with the chance to get to know each other better.

It's just a thought...

Common sense as always but a few here seem to actually enjoy stirring the pot so i don't think it will end anytime before the date 8.1.8 is past

Shite... right 'your gear' will be finished by the end of the weekend when i get used to using the encoder that works with your encoding settings you sent over.... it's a head scratcher every time I do one :p
