why should we support David Sullivan in his bullshit rag?

I bought the 'Adult Sport' rag - a cross between celebrity sleuth and titbits. JOrdan is a cheapo calender insert. Like candy floss it rots the teeth (or is that brain?). 'Club reps' is lesbo friendly (a mindnumbing voyage into 18-30 'fun') and is obviously good fodder for this dying horse. The phone sex ads didn't deter me as I gazed at the low quality pics and softcore pinups.

Joe, I just had to reply - that was a perfect passage of purple prose. if only Jonathan Ross or Bary Norman could have summed up crap movies so succinctly - Film 98 would have only lasted 10 minutes.

I'll second that Joe. The Sport has identified it's target audience as morons - So, it produces content and editorial to suit and seems to be getting worse of late. I fear if this decline in standards continues I may have to cancel my weekly subscription to the 'Sunday Sport.'

And Bob. Who gives the slightest fuck who those plain Jane slappas are (no doubt acting lairy in some downmarket pub) I haven't see a girl worth writing home about in said rag for about 10 years!

if you check the sunday sports circulation figures, they've steadily declined year on year and are now down to a rump figure.

not surprising as, throughout a period of intense competition for newspaper readers, the sport has spent not a cent on any sort of promotion (competitions, discounts, etc) to attract a new readership.

i guess they have other means of boosting their income.
