Uk G/B ?? Answers from producers please !!

Why is it that all Girl/Girl stuff from the UK seems to be so ott ?. Its seems to be all spitting, strap ons and shouting things like "lick my f'ing this and suck my f'ing that . Is there a reason for this ?

If you look at Viv Thomas, which is one of the most successful producers of girl/girl, they have a simple formula really. Hot Girls with simple but hot and sensual love making, not a strap on or swear word in sight. It really gives the impression that they are into what they are doing and it is really couples friendly.

I dont understand why no UK producers seem to go down this route when it comes to girl/girl stuff when it seems to be such a winning formula.

It would be great to get some replies from producers on this.

As a producer I can ciomment but not speak for all producers but myself.

Ive shot (in my opinion) some awful girl/girl scenes in my past because girls are funy creatures to work out.

One should be careful who they pair with and most of those occasions of shooting this has been determined by those paying for it therefore outside of my control with a "i told you so" to the client after...

However, I understand what you mean. Some girls who scream all that blah seem to think this makes a scene more hardcore when you can blatantly see otherwise and only makes them look ridiculous.

However, some girls are also naturally noisy and filthy talking and pull it off well because they are actually into what they do.

Personally Im not a big fan of girl on girl anyway because I know most girls are just being gay for pay. Having said that there were a few girl girl videos I genuinely found horny but in most cases I just find lesbian porn with its fake kissing and blowing/ spitting on pussy a big old yawn and the silent stuff makes it even worse so Im sure those girls are just compensating for lack of performance.

Ive shot an awful lot of g/g stuff and not sure I really agree with you. It often goes with the flow, some girls, for example Katie K, what you see on screen is her. Others may be quiet and take their time

Whats the point of replicating Viv Thomas when Viv Thomas does so well doing what he does?

Plus Viv is stationed out there in sunny climes smackin the middle of europe with so many stunning girls nearby.

Thats tought to replicate with great locations too

I remember watching Angel Long do a shoot once for my friend & her colourful talk keeps you watching her from start to finish, it don't work for all girls but it does put her in a class of her own that no-one else matches.
Porn is about fantasy so a lot of guys want to see girls doing the complete opposite to some of their wives & partners at home which includes dirty actions & talk.
sweetie sweetie works in soft-core in the UK but not in hard-core, i film quite a bit of girl girl & i have to agree with Terry sometimes it can be like watching paint dry if a new girl is gay for pay & only likes getting her fingers wet.

I think it all started some years ago when girls had been to LA and got, "Americanised". All the gobbing, swearing, howling, throttling and so on seems to be an American import and it seems to be both in g/g and in b/g.

In my scenes, I can definately tell when a girl (British or European) has just got back from LA, she has to be re-programmed to not behave like some moronic,crazed, pornstar, robot. You just breath on them and they're howling and groaning with ecstacy. Once you sit them down and explain, "IT'S-NOT SEXY-NO-ONE-BELIEVES-YOU'RE-REALLY-THAT-HORNY!" they wake up and once you scrape off all the horrible make-up they behave like the normal, sexy, girls-next-door that we all love, well at least I do.

Its not just the noise I think is a turn off in british g/g, it just never seems realistic to me. Its the realism and passion that is so good with Viv Thomas films, not the exotic locations or big budgets. I think that is what is missing from g/g over here.

Mat, sorry, I know you were really asking comments from producers, but I agree completely with you and hope you don't mind me adding to the debate.

From a sellers point of view, some of the stuff producers churn out is enough to make you wince, new title yes, but same old. It's not only Viv Thomas though who can get it right, we have just started listing the Abby Winters DVDs from the Australian website, which are very good and we have already had some very positive feedback regarding these.

On another thread I mentioned that Jimslip's latest DVD was great, so it can be done, but it does beg the question that you posed, why can so few UK producers get it right?
