Depending on the CD, capacity is 650-700 Mb, less a little for file architecture.
Experiment with floppity disks first, if you like, to get a feel for the process. It's very straightforward (i.e. even I can manage it!)......just follow the Burn wizard (e..g. Nero) and select the Data CD option.

On a 800mb disk you should get about 10,000 pics (on average).

To copy a picture off the net just right click on it and save it to your cd /rw..........easy!

Put your downloads into a file first then burn onto disc. You only get one shot to burn onto a CDr, unless you have a CDrw disc which you can burn onto regularly. Have fun experimenting and at approx 80p each disc, its not bad value for money

Yeah, aggers is right, but direct saving to CD deprives you of the option of organising your material.........if you've got
10 000 pics on the one disk, you need to be able to locate a particular one in rather less than 2 weeks!

That's not quite correct. Ace ... if you use 'Packet writing software' you can write as many times as you like!. 'DirectCD' which is part of Roxio's 'Easy CD creator' package is one such .. here's a link for it .... http://cequadrat.com/driver/dcd_upd/DCD51UP.exe (this file is about 12mb).
If you wan't to find out more about CDRW's generally here's a useful link ... http://www.cdrsoft.cc/ ...

Hence the need to arrange folders in Documents, and save pics in each catagory, ie, Blowjobs, Interracial. Works for me!! Oh, Grumble is correct, however, if you are new to CD rewriting, my way is easier, although you will try both Im sure. I sell my discs and very popular they are too!!

yes
cdr are worms (Write Once Read Many)
CDRW are like floppy discs
Personally - I write to my harddrive and burn to a final cd (1 cdrw had been rendered unreadable for some reason )
Extensis Portfolio(or paintshop pro) can catalogue ya pics for easy browsing.
