was just browsing through this in Tesco and there's a few pages about him and working in the states for likes of Brazzers. I was stunned to see he admits to being paid ?930 per scene and he does 20 scenes a month. Is this the sort of money a lot of the blokes get over there and does it dwarf what the top blokes could get over here. It also makes me wonder, what are the girls being paid, don't they always earn more.I saw a programme a few weeks ago about US porn and Jesse Jane was on it, think she said she could earn approx $40,000 per month but not all from films, isn't it a fact that some of the girls and seemingly some of the guys are earning a lot more than out of work/rarely working "proper actors"

I wouldn't say that the rate you quote is the "norm" for guys in the US but Kieran is a good performer working for a good company who in turn pay him accordingly. I would hazzard a guess and say that the girls they use on a regular are on similar if not better rates.

The thing is the shelf life of the guys is generally a lot longer than that of the girls. When a company finds a guy that ticks all the boxes they tend to keep onto them and look after them well as their relationship is going to be longer and they want to cultivate loyalty and a good working relationship to bring out the best in their talent for the long haul.

Comparing out of work "proper actors" to full time porn actors isn't really relevant. I'm sure George Clooney when working earns more than Kieran, although whether or not he has as much fun is arguable !wink!

I would have to say, as a performer, that if money is your main objective then working Stateside would afford greater opportunities.

I'd also lke to take this opportunity to say congratulations and well done to all our boys representing out there. Kieran, Danny Mountain, Tony de Sergio and Kenny Styles are all up for AVNs. Nice 1 lads... That's the Ticket!!!

the article gives his fee firstly in $ ,from memory think the sum quoted was $1400 or $1500 and the article goes on to say this is about ?930 in our money.

Quote these figures with caution. The porn industry is a "feast or famine" kind of business to be in. Theres no job security in terms of retiremnet and pension but then most people who do porn dont expect to be in a rocking chair in an retirement home having their arse wiped and slapping the firm arse of a pretty nurse either.

You can have a run of consistent luck followed by weeks or months of financial drought.

That is to say i dont think Peter North makes that same amount consistently every month but I wont deny he must have a bob or two behind him but if he is a real male porn star he wont have fuck all to show for it and still living out of a suitcase without a pot to piss in.
