Illegal Porn

Post by Muffinorman »

First post, so apologies if this question has been asked before.
I've been.searching for content of my favourite British and American.models, and I've come.across links for work that they've done on sites such as Everything Butt, HogTied etc...

Before i start clicking on any links, does anyone know if these sites or their content, contravene UK law on Extreme Pornography.

Any advice or clarification would be welcome

Thanks

As a general rule of thumb, it is illegal to possess a picture or video that depicts a scene whether acted or not, that if enacted in reality could result in death.

For example someone someone pushing a girls head under water and seeming to hold it their while she struggles to escape, or maybe someone appearing to hang by the neck or be suffocated.

Its pretty obvious what is illegal if you think about it, if you imagine the Yorkshire Ripper would love to hang the picture in his cell, then probably best avoid downloading it! lol

Hello Jimslip,

I understand the following; after reading the following information inyour answer:
"it is illegal to possess a picture or video that depicts a scene whether acted or not, that if enacted in reality could result in death."

Than it is illegal to possess movies on dvd/computer in the UK such as war movies, westerns(ex: the good the bad and the ugly), etc....; because there are scenes in those movies that depicts scenes(acted), that if enacted in reality(real life) could result in death.

Or is this a bridge to far,or is thisrule of tumb only for XXXmovies?.

Jimslip, I read the text of the section 63 act 2008 and this is about possession of movies but as far I understand nothing is said about producing such movies, or missed I something?

Let us take an example:

If I understand it well, you may produce an extreme SM movie or ballbusting movie but you may not possess such a movie?

Or are these type of movies also illegal to produce?

It isnt really possible to produce such a film and then not possess it, is it? Unless you immediately give the tapes out of the camera to someone else? You still have to edit it which means you own it, it's in your possession.

Not sure why I'm even reading this. Violence and porn are like vinegar and ice cream. BDSM stands for Boring Dull Sexless Movies. I'm afraid I can't see why anyone would find it erotic to watch a woman have her tits pierced with needles over seeing her playing with herself and cumming repeatedly whilst smiling, not crying.

Yes that is the strange dilemma of the Dangerous Pictures clause. As the material you are filming (If extreme) saves to disc or to tape, you are in effect in possession of it and therefore breaking the law. Even if you edit it out of your finished programme, you still are in possession of it.

Normal pornography only becomes illegal when you attempt to distribute it without the correct licences. Possession is not an offence.
