RCE encoded dvd's

Post by Eddie »

RCE encoded dvd's are currently only made by a couple of the biggest film companies in the U.S. & are only used on blockbuster new releases, so it is unlikely in the extreme that RCE will EVER affect porno! Anyway, to be on the safe side, buy a AIWA XD-DV480 from Richer Sounds, like I did - mine plays ALL discs automatically, including RCE ones too!

Oops! Forgot to mention that my dvd player is the multi-region version & not the one you can buy in Dixon's/Curry's etc!

It does not matter! All porn discs are region 0 (ie play on any machine) but the talk of different regions applys to Hollywood releases wich will be region coded for copywrite reasons. Erm..Help.

Encoded DVD's

It's all of little consequence. Porn dvd's are not coded, mainstream DVD's are available in the high street anyway. Why do you want them a few weeks before you could get them anyway? You need more patience! :)

Hollywood porn releases will be region 0 when distributed by UK based peeps, or internationally shipping companies.

It's not so much getting films earlier than their release over here, more to do with they sometimes have better extras and can be bought cheaper.E.G- Die Hard box set pal version doesn't have the 3rd film due to legal wrangles, but the US box set has all 3 films.
