I always thought my memory was playing tricks on me, because during the early 70's (I was probably 8 or 10 at the time) I thought I saw her do a strip on some sort of variety show.How far she actually went I don't know, but there is obviously some truth in this story.
As an aside, I used to live in the next street to her and seem to remember at that time how different she looked to her stage character.My old man still says to this day that she wasn't a bad looking bird in her day.I have also visited her house in a professional capacity and she and her hubby were very nice people to meet.
One last point, IMDB lists one of her films as "Nudist memories" She would have been 23 at the time.
