I was in a private shop a few months ago(before i found the font of knowledge that is this site),and asked the bloke there if they got any Ben films in at all, 'no demand for it' was his reply.
Sounded like bullshit even then.

Being pretty naieve (then) about Private shops i went in to my local one a few months ago with the 2 for the price of 1 voucher from their site. The first thing i asked was 'any Ben Dover's', at least the clinically depressed assistant did'nt give any no demand bullshit, just a weary no. The British selection was pitifully small, if they'd had the Fuck Truck with Katy in it at least i'd have walked out happy, but there was just the fist 2 FT's plus a few amateur housewives stuff. Fortunately one of these featured the gorgeous Kerry Miller, the confused lassie who does'nt know whether she's from Scotland, Doncaster or Switzerland. Shame she does'nt seem to be in the biz anymore.
By the way Phil McC. as an ice hockey player, can we expect an episode of the 'Puck Truck'?

Ha Ha, mate ice one. That crazy bird was from Scandanavia I think she had lived in Aberdeen with a guy for only about 2 years and had picked up a crazy accent. I got her from an agent up north somewhere Dougie something.

David Sullivan will not stock my tapes because he thinks it unreasonable for me to want payment for them. He just wants everything for himself and will pay literally just a few pence more than they cost to duplicate, so it's just not viable.

yeah the trouble at the moment is unless you have transport to London easily (which I have, but I'm speaking for the people here),each of these private shops are now uniformed with the same stock!!! this still encourages me to buy pirate tapes from a few shops in Soho for ?10. Now I'm not saying that's right, but the selection in private shops at the moment is not only shite, bit a rip off as well.
How well do you know this David Sullivan Ben? Is he that much against uk porn that he makes it almost impossible for the likes of me to buy your original tapes at a reasonable price?

Many years ago I used to have some clothing shops and the rag trade is much the same, I could buy Jackets etc for a few quid and sell them at 500% pluss mark-up. Now its different We all work in the Asda style industry. Big volume at low prices. Untill there are more outlets it will still be controled by a few big names.
