You should have added that you don't need to register if you just want to read the messages. I never registered, but I am a regular visitor. I never felt the need to publish there.

Nowadays I visit Ben Dover's forum less often than I used to do. The publications about his penis have always been unfunny, but they had a touch of creativity. The creativity has now disappeared completely. By now, we all know Ben Dover has a penis and what it looks like.
Though the messages about Ben's penis are getting tedious, the pencentage of those messages is increasing. It looks like the contributors to the forum are running out of subjects. At the moment there is very little that interests me.

And don't pity Golostruda. When it comes to abusive language, he can hold his own.

Yeah, the posts about Bens Toadstool are a lot less creative than they used to be but I still occasionally pop in to read them if I am feeling in need of spiritual enlightenment. Its nice to see that there are bigger loonies than myself out there.

As regards the "Golustruda Is A Cunt" post. It may be rude but it is an accurate description. I have seen him make some fairly unpleasant posts himself on that forum. And that post seemed a fairly reasonable response to some of Gollys rather nasty posts in the past few weeks aimed at other users of that forum. He seems particularly envious of Dr Pam Javelins surreal humour. Penis humour envy as a opposed to penis envy.

I was more concerned about the abusive and personal remarks made against models which are allowed over there. These range from schoolboy style insults to rumours of escorting and in one case the alledged theft of Bens jacket by one of the girls!

On the back of this thread I visited Bens forum and was suprised to see that the ongoing comedy posts of the medical students behind the cock-humour posts has actually produced a debate on comedy in general. See the thread with "effigy" in the title. I am not registered so cant reply. But for the record I agree with Roger Totty from www.fannybatter.com that Golostruda is wrong and the medic behind those posts is a talent and a comedy genius. The point about Peter Cooks radio phone in pranks was pertinent indeed.

I dont think they are trolls Buttsie. But it seems only Ben himself and a few others understand the humour. Obviously Golostruda finds it dull because he works in TV and they would be the last to spot new comedy talent. Medical students on the other hand.......Graham Gardener, John Cleese, Graham Chapman, Harry Hill etc all medical students not humerless media types.

I might just have to register on Bens forum purely for the purpose of agreeing with Ben Dover and Roger Totty that that stuff is funny. The complainers are obviously not too bright and their imaginations dont go beyond the sex element of Bens films. The whole humerous spectacle of the Ben Dover character and formula is wasted on them as all the want to see is a stretched anus full of spunk.

My mistake for thinking that without a moderators prescence forumites would behave like adults instead of resorting to scholl boy name calling
because they have a different perspective

All I can say is that those posts (or the increase in them) are not a result of the absence of a moderator. Ben himself has positively encourage it in the past. He gets the humour you see Buttsie. He is afterall a grammer school boy.

I agree the humour is wearing a bit thin due to repetition. You may remember we ourselves were accused of such things back in the halcion days of the Three Ring Circus when our jokes about beans, custard, bread and tapioca(????) caused outrage amongst a few posters who thought we were trying to be some sort of elite "in crowd". There were many posts calling for us to be executed on Tower Hill by Woodgnome wearing a black mask and wielding a huge axe sharpened by Alec that very morning. The backlash didnt bother you or I but it could have been enough to make forumites made of less stern material take a hike for a while. It seems our humour is accepted now. As is Steve56s different outlook on life also accepted. Every village needs an idiot or two. By and large this is a mirror of society and as such proves that porn enjoyers are normal folk.

The truth of things is that we here at BGAFD are a fairly balanced bunch i.e. the idiots and drunks are balanced by the sober half-idiots. And as for the moderators.......I wouldnt do their job for all the tea in Lizards cupboard.
