Rolf Harris...Genius ...Discuss

Post by Cornish Chris »

Having just spent most of the day, downloading the near entire catalouge of Rolf Harris I would err on the side of genius.
"Froggie goes a courting" and the superb "Jake the peg" being highlights.

Tell me i am not alone in my admiration of the bearded wonder.

Dire Dire you Philistein, It ranks as one of the classics along with other weepies such as Terry Jacks "Seasons in The Sun". Strange to think he progressed from singing about black sheep etc and moved onto producing H/C Porn setting up his own company "One Eyed Jacks"....LOL.

On second thoughts Steve give me the number of the Harley Street shrink, I think i had better lie down for a moment.

"Sun Arise come every morning................"Im Jake the Peg...diddle diddle dum........Tie me Kangaroo Down Sport........

Did I mention that he is also a fantastic painter & top pets friend.
And also pioneered in getting kids to swim " I gave me olds a hell of a turn"
not forgetting being the face behind the wobble board and stylophone.

Rolfarootastic is there no end to his talents.

That song has been played to death, at least Rolf got it higher in the charts than those drugged up slags, Led Zep.

Must admit his shows were very entertaining when I was a kid..........but then again TV WAS very different in them days................more"innocent" than todays TV.

Used to love seeing him do them big paintings, watch them slowly come together. "Can you see what it is yet?"
