did you ever see L.A.CONFIDENTIAL only ever see it once bout 3 yrs ago,i recall kim bassinger in it too along with kevin spacey/russel crowe,there was a great fight scene in it and lookalikes from hollywood movies,e.g. lake,monroe its 1 of those i wish now i hadnt taped over but there it is.

It is a classic Steve, Russel Crowe's best film IMO. Great shootout at the end, and yes, Kim looks amazing.......as per usual!! You can get it for a fiver in Virgin megastore on DVD, so bet you can get it for less on VHS

it was the fight scene that did it for me so f#realistic often wonder if those guys get hurt in real life,i recall a story wen richard harris punched a guy in a film[?]he was out dont think harris knew his own strengh he was a bloody good actor though/singer very underated if you havent seen this sporting life you should its good.

was the first film i got on dvd when they came out and i just got new hifi with dvd player and i ruined the film by fucking about with the chapters and the gun shootout sounded like was surrounding me...was weird...ahem

Ha!!!! It was MY first DVD too as it was discounted at Curry's I paid ?4.99 for it. Pity a LOT more titles don't come down in price.

other films that havent been mentioned yet:married to the mob,dean stockwell,alec baldwin:the killers forget the 60s remake go for the burt lancaster/ava gardner 1,the boost,james woods,bugsy,warren beatty.
