Re: HULK HYPE OR WHAT?
I saw this film about a month ago on an *ahem* preview DVD and it is a bit slow, AND Hulk looks too cartoonish at times, but the effects are top-notch.
I know he's computer image, but at times it does look tacky. Overall, a 6/10

Re: HULK HYPE OR WHAT?
Actualy not a bad movie, but yeh the hulk does look a bit to animated. Should have used a real person to play him. The TV series Hulk actor Lou plays a guard in the movie. I liked the story. Part of it was far fetched. The hype is not really needed but its a lot better than what you see in the trailer. If you haven't seen it and want to see it, check out the Hulks fight with the hulked up dogs. Eric Bana was OK. TV series hulk was better in terms of realism, at least he looked like a monster in green tights, shame about the haircut. In those days they didn't have CGI animation. The hulk in the movie version was a bit to bigger in size, that i found crap. I know they was trying to get it as close to the comic book, but they should have made him a bit smaller and got an actor to play him and done part of him as CGI. That way he would have looked more realistic. The late Bill Buxby, think that was his name played the TV series Dr Banner very well with a lot of emotion. The TV series version he was known as David Banner when in actual fact that was his fathers name in the movie/comic books. The Hulks alter ego was Bruce Banner. His full name Bruce David Banner.
Films Partly Hype! but still worth a watch.

Re: HULK HYPE OR WHAT?
The worse thing of all about these movies is the "Film Premieres" itself...full of NOBODY'S arriving on red carpets and we,the general public are lead to believe these are 'stars'...
Unfortunately, the REAL film stars of any note are all dead...we are left with the dross pictured for the following mornings newspaper-who cares!
By this time the movie is forgotten-now they are planning the next piece of nonsense at the next premiere...anyway,keeps someone employed.
