Why does US TV have greyer pics ?

yeh also the difference in american and uk is q. odd in "behind the making of" movies and things cos u see a film and its so sculpted visually yet when u see the behind the scenes cameras everything comes to life and is real....its a bizarre thing eh, american screens seem very glossy and colourful

yes it's true. Just watch programmes like 'Friends'. Everyone seems to have orange skin. They add 'chroma' to their pictures in the States to makes everyone look tanned and healthy, typical yank vanity.
I work for a US news channel in London, you can see the difference when you compare the signal we send to the US to the 'return feed' as we call it (ie. what you see on TV at home).

What bugs me about American programs (I've used this spelling deliberately) shown over here is the fact that the credits at the end of the program roll up the screen very fast or if they do not roll but change
as individual screen shots at such a speed that I cannot read them. I put this down to the different electrical voltage and frequency used the US. Am I
right in my assumption?.
