Nowhere near. A couple of fairly straightforward ones, before the registered forums started, began with a simple question and answers---before being hijacked by Steve "Summer Of 69" 56, and heading off on all sorts of roads.

I believe we had a hundred and odd threader on the o/t unregistered forum, I cant remember what it was about, but I think dibble was involved and magoo and me and jj and buttsie and woodgnome and marcusallen and 56, it just went on and on, so 50 is just a fly-by-night....

Yep! for all his faults (and there were many) we had some good late night debates round the camp fire, you would start a thread saying something like 'is porn dead' then the next thing, everyone and his dog would jump in and we would end up debating weather 'Kennedy' was assasinated (which of course he was) or the price of tinned tuna from Asda......all good reasoned debate, then as the drink tooik it,s toll, some would drop out, to leave the die-hards cursing each other and questioning parentage, until the last flickers of a keyboard faded, only to find the following day, half the posts had been deleted by woody or alec, and then everyone would appologise to each other, then it would all start again the next night......ah! happy days.
Then 56 came along! and the rest is history.......
