Over the past few years I have joined many websites. One of the biggest disappointments for me is when they don't allow you to download any video clips to your pc or they require you to have a license which expires with your membership. When I've paid out hard earned cash to join a website, I want something to keep.
Is there a way to capture video content as it is playing on your machine (other than pointing a video camera at your monitor)?
Would a video card with a TV OUT be of any use?
Are there any legal considerations if you do this?
Anybody's (helpful) comments will be most appreciated.
