If JD Bradfield's cartwheeling guitar throughout the Manic's Motorcycle Emptiness counts as riffing, then that's miles better.

There are so many to choose from, but among those that have stayed with me are at least half a dozen by Clapton in various guises, Time from Dark Side (who said Gilmour wasn't an axeman?) and an excellent piece of early promise by Mr Steve Hackett on The Fountain Of Salmacis.

The Warriors was an 'okay for its time film'. It featured an all-black gang called The Riffs that wore sunglasses at night, a bit like Jack Nicholson or Tommy Vance

Joe Satriani- Always with me, always with you.

To be morbid, already chosen as my funeral music!
We have need of you again, great king.

Anything on this Joe Satriani album is a classic. A lesson for all budding guitarists to aspire to (Yeah, right!!)

VERY talented and seen him twice with DLR, but his 'Passion and Warfare' is far too complex for me to appreciate. Satriani's work on the other hand is more than excellent.
