Kilroy? Any opinions?

Post by Heathray »

His comments are a bit harsh but surely he is entitled to his opinion?

Or is Vice President Blair scared of losing a few arms contracts with the Saudis?

Im gonna go out on a limb and predict that most people on here HATE Kilroy because they hate people a lot less severe than him. I on the other hand need to swim against the tide and so I gotta admit I kinda like his programme but haven't really taken in the news issue enough to comment ;)

I've already made my feelings clear in the "Special relationship" thread:

"Oh, and I hope that arsewipe Kilroy Silk hasn't cottoned on to some underlying public mood. More than enough bigoted bollocks is talked about Asians, and Muslims in particular, without giving that tosser a hearing. I may not believe that Islamic law is fair to certain people (particularly women), but nor do I judge the whole religion by its more extremist elements. It's like a view of Christianity based on the fire and brimstone Presbyterians, the Catholic Inquisition or (the one quoted by Saddam, al Qaida and others) the insane zealots of the crusades."

Yes, he's entitled to his opinion, but condemning hundreds of millions of people for the actions of a small group is pathetic. I haven't seen too many of his programmes (on far too early for me), but what little I have seen makes him seem like an insincere gimpoid more concerned with his haircut and appearance than any subject being debated.

He,s entitled to his opinion, even if it,s wrong, he wrote this article a good few months ago in the express not a murmer! it got reprinted, and all hell broke loose within the BBC, as they have to be so PC......as they were accused of not supporting 'our boys' during the Iraq conflict, he mention that Arabs are suicide bombers, practice amputating limbs for certain crimes, and opress women, which of course is true!, but not all Arabs!, just like all Irishmen are not IRA terrorists, and not all scousers are funny!.
However like him or not, his carreer is finished...period.
I for one wont weep as I think all celebrity reality TV shows, opra, and that Trisha, and springer are shite!

If it wasn't religion, they'd find some other excuse for war, Dave.

War has nothing to do with Religion although there are compelling examples which would make you believe otherwise

Its biological..ie..survival of the fittest IMHO

No different to animals in many respects

Someone has to sit on top of the pile and war is how Mankind does it

History proves this beyond doubt

cheers

War has nothing to do with religion. What utter bollocks ! ALL wars are about religion or land or control - which is religion anyway.

You know something,

I feel Kilroy has been treated Disgracefully by the BBC and the "Head" of the race equality board "Trevor Phillips".

Firstly, I can remember within the last 6 months a piece was broadcast interviewing a Muslim Fundementalist who openly talked about his hatred of western society and the heroic actions of the september 11th hijackers. This was broadcast by all major networks Sky, BBC, ITN. It is strange that Mr Phillips did not object to that outwardly racist anti western sentiment.

Secondly, This country has become to frightened to say what it thinks, everyone wants to be Politically Correct rather than speak their mind!!!.

Personally if RKS is using this forum i say Well Done, Good Luck, and this guy should receive a Knighthood for his services to the United Kingdom.

I agree with some of that. The BBC are fit to shit themselves whenever their beloved name might get dragged through the mud thus creating bad publicity for them. Their knee-jerk reaction is always to fire the culprit Angus.......fucked that one up too didnt they...?
