Just managed to watch this excellent ch5 programme on tape. It was probably good because it looked like it was made by some Scandanavians judging by the credits at the end rather than some biased English twatty journo's.
The first ( that I know of anyway ) documentary that has told it like it really is without ridicule. Especially enjoyed all the people on it that supported what I have been saying on here for ages that the standards have dropped and there ain't no money innit anymore. The art of film making has gone !
And most seem to dislike Paul Little aka Max Hardcore's style ( ha ! contradiction there ) of entertainment. We once shared a villa with Paul/Max in Cannes in 1996 and athough to us guys he was quite pleasant and socialable ( or was it drunk ). We did feel sorry for his female sleeping partner, punch bag - sorry co-star for the week. The abuse she got was, well - just not on ! He's a sick puppy.
Seymore Butts admitting that he'd never even used a camera before his first shoot sums it all up really. Again as I keep saying anyone can shoot this rubbish these days with these idiot proof cameras.
Congrats to the programme makers.

Re: the other hollywood
I am sure I am not alone in wishing you returned to making films.

Re: the other hollywood
If it was worth it David. I would love to but it seems the days when "films" had budgets are well gone. Now it's just cheap and cheerful rubbish.
Re: the other hollywood
Shouldn't need to buy it. If they want to expand and develop ther film making I am very available to approach and more negotiable than people think. But ONLY if they seriously want to improve and compete with Private for instance.
