most of my junk mails that i ever bother to check appear to be individual emails rather than bulk....some kind of "clever" mailing technique.....

Basically, don't open any mail you weren't expecting- ESPECIALLY if it's got an attachment.

never open...and also never bounce or reply
blocking email addys is pointless but blocking specific words seems to work
I just received 1889 messages(a weeks worth in a defunct email addy) Most from different email addys.Boggles the mind when you think how much of this crap like this is in the sytem
