Are Bloody Boring Anyway

Post by The Last Word »

Not quite with you on the second sentiment, but you're spot on with the first. The nadir of seventies naff. A hostess trolley in musical form. And come the revolution those bloody revivalists will be first up against the wall. They'll all be crying 'Mamma Mia' then, ha-ha. God, I hate this band.

I was 14 when Waterloo won the highly praised Euro-vision song punch-up. This guy at school - Robert- was telling me and my mate Steve about Anna....

" OOhhhh Fuckin Un-Believable. Ohhhh...she's the fucking most GORGEOUS BEAUTIFUL CHICK I've ever seen. Even her face makes you crack a fat..."

etc etc ( 14 year old boys full of hormones stuff ). I thought he was exaggerating but I was wrong. When I saw her the following week I too decided to devote my entire life to getting her as a girlfriend. Now, at 43, Holly Valance has me knawing my toes with passion. Sorry about her comments about poms - I actually like the English a lot.

Phwooorr...look at her....CRASH

I'd rather put some platforms on with a huge collared shirt and boogie on down rather than listen to some wannabe gangsta "talking" about his bitches and ho's and exactly how many caps he's gonna put in a white cop's ass.
Sweeping generalisation?
So what.
The only rap tune I have ever liked is "Close to the Edge" by Grandmaster Flash...or something.

Any Brits out there who remember the green cross code brigade of the 70's may remember the tune was used in an advert with modified lyrics.

"Johnny was a fool
He didn't act cool
Walked all out
And broke every rule
Shoulda stopped at the curb
Shoulda used his head
If you don't watch out
Ya gonna wind up dead
Don't step out
When you're close to the edge
Or you may find that you lose your head"

Hey what can I say...it stuck with me.

As for ABBA. Over-rated Viking tossers.
Big in the gay community, along with AmulNitrate.

Reminds me of my "Alf says ya durrrty mungrel bludger" posts.
Alf rules in a right wing, ignorant way.
We have an Alf. Garnett.
Local man. Supports West Ham.
Enoch Powell worshipping prick of a character that he was.
Loved it though just to see him moan.
