Wev'e discussed him before, and I believe we all thought he was a gifted writer who's talents are wasted on Chris Evans, But how I laughed at his VERY insensitive joke last night on 'Have I got News For You'
Even Greg Dyke laughed before looking 'embarrased'

For those who missed it, it was the 'Fill the blank space in' round, and the words you COULD see were 'Before you Croak', so DB said the missing words were, 'Smile, say French Paparazzi'
It WAS Funny, believe me, even if there WAS a collective 'uneasy groan' from the audience

Im amazed you think anything good of him, I wouldve thought he'd be prime material for despising on this board. I find him quite funny really...on HIGNFY he was really good too, that joke didnt bother me...no more than any other joke of that nature
