the pic disapeares after about 10 mins think i wait till next thursday phone box clever and see if they can swap me another tv,had this since nov 99 anyway.

It prolly is an HT circuit problem , sometines dry joints can go with temp , but then tapping the cabinet will make it work again for a while . It may be a diode or cap in the HT chain breaking down as it warms up . You might be able to get it fixed without it costing a fortune .
In our throw away society though it's often cheaper to pick one up in Asda , and sod the environment

its rented so i wont have to pay ,i have lots of tapes on the floor near it and on top better move them hadnt i,im such a lazy person,ha.
