Bristol for Stag weekend

Post by rrankin »

Hi all,

I'm going to Bristol for a stag weekend soon. I used to live there, but it was a few years ago now so out of touch.

So any tips about the best places to visit / services to order for the groom would be gratefully received.

We are all over 21 so anything goes!

It isn't as silly a point to make as you may think...

A lot of pubs / bars / clubs in the UK including Bristol (especially Clifton!) have an over 21s only policy.

There are plenty of pubs/clubs down the dockside, lots of good restaraunts etc, Whiteladies rd/ Blackboy hill, all leading down to the university, I used to live in Clifton, it,s nowhere near as good as it used to be, but there are 2 x pizza express, the larger of the two is the best, full of top totty, all eating then moving on to town (recommended).
Loads of clubs in the City Centre, also loads of pushers! best bet definitley the quayside area, and down near the little vic theatre....

beware pubs down side streets, I wandered into one with a mate and his girlfriend once only to be confronted with a room full of blokes some of whom were wearing only leather thongs! swift exit

blue oyster bar came to mind

we are Leeds.... , and we can still beat the mighty Chester
