In my opinion the best Led Zep song ever! having just watched the superb Knebworth 79 footage again, gave me goose pimples, Jimmy Page's facial expressions during the solo!

Then again my Led Zeppelin favourites have always been BlacK Dog & Rock N Roll...Stairway to Heaven ain't bad but a little over played

Taped em once and gave the CD to me best mate along with 2 live performance DVDs

Yes I agree Bimmercat, and the live version us incredible! Never heard of it Deuce? Do you have the remasters CD? it's on cd 2 I think, Rock and roll is also one of my faves Deuce, I agree about Stairway as well mate, Being a big Pink Floyd fan as well it's like Brick in the wall pt2, well overplayed

Since Iv,e been loving you! a classic song methinks, blues in minor chords, the album track (original) was brilliant, seeing them try to create it live, is not as good, jimmy,s fingers are stiffening up now!

Amen to that. I always thought "Achille's Last Stand" was Bonham's masterpiece, it's a phenomenal performance.
