Its the Olympic Games for fucks sake - its about sport, there are thousands of sportsmen and administrators who deserve the honour of carrying the torch. This is surely an occasion where the significance of the event meant that we didn't need to call on one of the myriad of fuckwitted, talentless "celebrities" that pollute our country to garner publicity.

Lets just hope we never get the olympics - an opening ceremony involving the "talents" of Jade Goody, Charlie Dimmock and Dean Gaffney doesn't bear thinking about.
