Rap artists looking silly

Was watching a video hits show this morning to perv on the girls and I noticed how silly the rap guys are looking these days. They're all so fucking serious about how they've " Got a party in muh pants and muh bitch is goin' down " etc etc while slowly nodding their head and symbolicly poking the words at you as they drive past in giant cars.

Their life sure looks tough in those gettos ! The girls look nice but.

Mainstream Rap has lost its way. The best rap had something to rap about - it dealt with real issues. These days these guys are so rich all they can harp on about is their money and their girls and their cars. Twats most of them - yes and they look pathetic but so do most stars once they get too high on their fame (and many beforehand).

All true, as is Pianaman's comment. What worries me is what effect this is having on our nation's youth. Don't laugh, but only last week, enjoying an evening stroll in peaceful, leafy Cheshire, myself and the better half were subject to a drive-by pellet-gun shooting. Though no more painful than biting my tongue, we were later told this occurence had become something of an epidemic around the locality.

Kids, eh. Not so much don't know they're born, more don't know they're ridiculous.

Nothing is more marvellous than pissed off US rappers playing gigs here. Because though their 'shouts' to the crowd in the US usuallly along the lines of 'Is Compton in da house?', Is South Central in da house?' is very down with the kids it loses all credibility when they play High Wycombe or St Johns Wood.

Better still when they yell , 'Y'all make some NOISE!' completely ignore them choosing instead to stare at them in mute indifference!

And the biggest irony of it all is when their lyrics usually refer to shooting someone in the MF head til their MF dead, then I MF cremate them til the MF is gone etc etc ad nauseum. And then as the gig thankfully draws to a close they stride offstage making a Victory hand gesture to the crowd and shout, 'Peace'.
