Noel Gallagher and Ian Brown

Post by Ace »

What SHOULD have been a BRILLIANT session last night on Jonathan Ross was shite!!!!! Browns voice was so flat, it was hard to imagine this legend from Stone Roses was once so good.
Noel, to his credit played well, especially coming off the back of a shit Ross interview.
Nevermind, Ray Winstone is on next week, and Ross better not take any liberties with 'The Daddy'

The West London of my youth is now on dvd

Oh, you troll ... :-)

I've always thought Ross was an excellent presenter, and I always try to listen to his Radio 2 show (usually through the BBC's website). I have fond memories of "The Last Resort" on Channel 4 and his "Incredibly Strange Movies" series has been a strong influence on my movie-buying habits.

I didn't see "Friday Night With Jonathan Ross" last Friday, but I saw it the previous week where Paul Newman, Christian Slater, Jack Dee and the 5,6,7,8's (plus some has-been musician bloke called Paul something-or-other) were on. And I enjoyed the whole show. The 5,6,7,8's, eh? Mentalist barefoot Japanese surf'n'beehive Rock'n'Roll chicks - what's not to like?

Anyway, horses for courses I guess.

Having said that, I think Parky took the gold last weekend. Tom Cruise, Billy Connelly and Kelly Holmes - now *that's* a line up.

Cheers,

Mikey

Ummm ... no.

It was actually Persis Khambatta that played the bald ensign. The fact that Ms. O'Connor was a baldy contemporary girly was a pure coincedence.

Woudn't "Anal Pedant" be a good name for an adult-interest DVD?

:-)
