Tony Noble's interesting story

Post by David J »

As a mere punter, I would be delighted if someone started making really good porn in the UK, with UK girls (OK, OK, Ben Dover's stuff can be good, I just wish he'd sack that ugly scrote Pascal). But I can understand the scepticism about someone starting up in the way described by Tony Noble.

However, there is an easy way to remove any doubts. In one of his messages he says in the last year he has produced and directed six films, not distributed in the UK.

So it should be easy for him to give the titles and the distribution companies, which we can all check on the usual databases.

If he does this, and the details check out, fine.

If he can't, I would suspect some kind of media sting operation, especially if he says the films are still 'in the pipeline'. I remember that undercover reporter (Donald somebody) who stitched up the fashion industry a year or two ago (agents selling drugs and porking under-age models, etc). He had a very convincing cover story about working for a new magazine, complete with a mock-up first edition, etc.

Tony Noble says
'I should stress that I no longer have any connection with Savage Secrets, who have some excellent product.'

On the Front of www.savage-secrets.com is the same telephone number he gave out(Telephone:- +44 (0)1234 290670)? So, is he connected or not? The site has email links.

I've followed Mr Noble's story with considerable interest and concur with young David's post.
It would be the simplest thing in the world for a pro to check him out. His reticence is troublesome. I cast no aspersions-I have no reason to doubt his veracity, but would hate for some poor innocent(businesswise) soul to suffer should he prove to be a ringer.
If he cares to mail me directly with checkable bona fides I'll be most happy to recommend him to any interested parties. I've only been in this biz for 20yrs but consider that I am qualified.

I don't know what it means but the savage-secrets website seems to have expired

The admin contact info is another Tony. I wonder if that is his real name (dif from 'Noble')

I find it amazing (see thread below) that Mr Noble managed to interview and recruit the remainder of his 'cast' within 24 hours of the original post here.
Impressive if true..........

Over to you, Wendy?

......although twice what I believe to be the going rate for a 3-day shoot may have something to do with it.
Sorry to be sceptical: Mr Noble's stout defence below is convincing, but there are inconsistencies........perhaps Wendy might confirm his bona fides, as she, I'm sure, has our implicit trust.

He does seem to know his stuff though. Not just the tech stuff either. If this was a media sting then he knows a lot about the industry. For example how many people who are not involved in porn would know who the Mitchell Brothers were (not the ones from Eastenders BTW) or would know of Privates links with Scala.

This is the most `bizarre` carry-on I have ever read about.

1)Advertising for models and quoting fees in this forum should be outlawed. You cannot advertise for this type of work in local newspapers, the ramifications for doing so are pretty obvious, and I think the site superintendant should have put a stop to this by taking the ad off in the first place.
2) Now, because this has got everybody on collective witch hunt, you are demanding that this guy, whoever he/they/she is to show you there credentials.......why?????

.....perhaps because there isn't a one of us who hasn't been fucked over at some point by something similar to this.
Maybe the cynicism is unwarranted, but it is at least understandable.

Er, the Mitchell Bros? You GOT to be kidding! Anyone doing basic research would know about them...pioneers of porn in the US. The recent (fairly) book 'Pornucopia' gives them a mention. I would STILL be VERY suspicious of any producer offering such high rates for filming. The real question is WHY??
