And you think that Fucks News won't have some smear lined up for the day before the election?
Sadly, the broadcast media has fallen foul of the newspaper disease: it's not enough reporting what's going, you have to give it a spin through your own political filter. Bad enough that newspapers think their readers are too stupid to think for themselves without television joining in.
Think we're okay for this election, but by 2010 our electoral procedure will involve voting through The Sun or phone lines, ITV will televise the whole event (complete with braindead audience and canned applause), and Ant or Dec will become Prime Minister.
still think US big media is pro-Bush?

Ant & Dec as joint Prime Ministers - would it be any worse?
Meanwhile, Murdoch claims his Fox News is NOT pro-Bush and that it really is the 'fair and balanced' news channel.
Do try to keep a straight face:

Dec would be seething away for years after Ant reneges on his promise of standing down at the end of his second term.

In the end you just tune out....tweedle or tweedle dim makes no difference
I wouldn't expect anything less from Sixty Minutes...they lost their credibility many years ago when how they made their stories was revealed...cheque book journalism and if you can't get the right slant just edit it
I've heard so many candidates say they're running a postive campaign but all they ever utter is generalisations like they're talking to the local Kindergarten...same old tired Education,Health,Security & the Economy
It always turns Negative because sadly thats how we the voters usually pick our candidate
The least Worst not the best
We are Positively Cynical

The story has broken because of a report from the Iraqi government given to the IAEA this month. The explosives were under IAEA control before the war - the IAEA workers left at the time of the invasion. So a result of the invasion is that some serious weapons, which were under the control of the international community before the war have no vanished and could be in the hands of terrorists. So a real triumph in "the war on terror"
This has been reported by every serious newspaper around the world and the reason for the timing is a report issued by the Iraqi government.
The loss of tons of explosives and entire factories of dual-use nuclear machinery are a very serious news story - hard for even the most pro-Bush news outlets not to report these incidents as major items.
CNN reporting on a major news story - Fox's chief political correspondent fabricating quotes from John Kerry. Seems like we have one station attempting to be a serious news channel and the other being nothing but a cheer-leader for one political party.
Sad to say Bimmers my old fruit - but your post says far more about your own political bias than that it does about CNN.
