Disrespectful bastards

In yesterdays Sun, a heartbreaking story about a mother who lost her 10 year old son, from a brain disorder who put some small lights on his grave, because he was scared of the dark, and was asked to remove them as they looked like "a mini Blackpool illuminations", by the local authorities, I guess it will provoke the argument, if they let this boys parents have them, then everyone will? but can't they just bend the rules for something like this? it's so so sad
