My AVG virus scan tells me that I've got 3 infections of Java/ByteVerify but doesn't tell me how to deal with them. Anybody got any suggestions?

Re: Virus
Like any solution everybody has a different take as we're all using different machines.
Life is simple but only when your computer is turned off IMHO

Start up google (www.google.co.uk)
Search for the viris names, or "PC security"
Follow the instructions given on the official sites (symantec etc)
Not difficult

Re: Virus
Most likely because they never existed IMHO
Spybot has been picking up DSO Exploit on my computer for the past 3 months, fixing it and then finding it next time its run...false positive
Adaware on the other hand doesn't because it doesn't exist, its just an aberration due to something in the program itself
cheers
