It will have been said before, but Eastenders is just going from bad to worse. The storylines are getting more and more ridiculous, to the point that there is no consistency other than getting more and more insulting to the viewers intelligence... Leslie Grantham has been critisized for saying about the show what many viewers think, trouble is he's absolutely correct.
All soaps are fodder for the masses, but at least Emmerdale, Corrie & Hollyoaks don't take themselves too seriously and inject the shows with humour... As well as being utterly preposterous, EastEnders is unbelievably po-faced.

It might improve if they start showing them reading a real newspaper,using a washing machine,worrying about bills ,rent,going to supermarkets,and above all;goiing to adifferent fucking pub.

It is dire now, and Leslie Grantham as a villain is laughable, especially his Humphrey Bogart voice.
Mind you, I did laugh and say 'One for the lads' when Andy binned Sam and ate his cake.
