According to an article in the Times about kosher mobile phones, one of the many forbidden acts on the sabbath is the tearing of loo paper. So it has to be prepared the day before i.e. the estimated number of necessary pieces pre-torn. I wonder if the stricture applies to that boxed, interleaved variety?
