I feel like spending my money ina country that's not the UK.

Don't you get sick of assholes who keep bragging how they bought a house for ?27 ... and now it's worth quarter of a million. I hope the property bubble bursts well and truly - it's already starting in the US and we're a little way round the circle. Boom & Bust, don't you love it.

But a cruise - NO, they are full of tossers as well.

I worked on the QE2 on 3 three month tours. Fucking murder, and nachovx is right, tourists are all tossers.
Hardest contracted work I ever did.........hated it, and its not at all glamourous. 4 lads to a cabin, all day shifts, thieving Filipino cleaners.

The West London of my youth is now on dvd

I've met the man on the street............and he's a cunt

I've watched all manner of relatives retire and the ones that seem to do the best or last the longest are those that sell the 3/4 bedroom family home & move into a retirement village cupboard

Frees up all that cash locked away in their major Asset-the family home
rather than scaping and saving on their government pension or investments/super pension

As for gallavanting around on a Luxury Cruise Liner....anything to escape your winters can't be a bad thing

cheers

A much better alternative is freighter travel. Usually max. no. of passengers 12, none of that dressing for dinner bollox and being entertained by naff artistes.
I've been round the world 21/2 times that way.
