Cream re-union

Post by muswell »

Given the number of posts re 60's bands on this forum I'm surprised that there has been no mention of the rock event of the decade, and possibly the century-time will tell.
Eric "slowhand" Clapton gave his best performance since Cream said farewell in 1968. Jack Bruce sang better than ever and Ginger Baker showed that the drums were a musical instrument.
I came home to see Oasis banging pots on the J.Ross show, they'd never make a living busking.

Some mates of mine came all the way from New York to see Cream, they paid about $1000 per ticket and were still blown away. One of them did indeed say that it was the best playing he'd ever seen from Clapton.

Cream are brilliant musicians with great songs. Oasis are shit.
