according to his website they arranging tour dates for 2006 () he is very funny, my favourite of his is the song 'well hung ploughboy' to the tune of rhinestone cowboy.

For an original the latest called 'Pizza' is above average...totally politically incorrect..brainchild of jeffrey"I loves you all" fenechs brother...lebanese humor with an aussie slant-CRASS big time

i was in oz about 3 years ago and found, to my dismay, i'd turned up at a point when rodney wasn't touring, typical!!
i realise, as you say, a 20 year career is plenty and good luck to him in his retirement.
a quality comic who, unless i'm sorely mistaken, hasn't brought his comedy to the rest of the world. i wonder why?
btw, the mcdonalds bit, which is one of the free d/ls on his site, still makes me piss my pants even now

I agree Rodney has blinding delivery and the way he puts hecklers in their place is world class but when you strip away the act all your left with is Aussie Toilet Humor which doesn't translate that well.

Commentary like this doens't really go down that well

Just got back from a dysentry tour of Bali
19 shithouses in 4 days

I bought the first 3 albums and the last DVD and having borrowed a few of the others the humor does becomes very repetitive

Plenty of other 'Local' comedians whose material is specific never tour
Only Rednecks get Jeff Foxworthys comedy

How many people would have listened to Pete & Dud and bought Derek & Clive if they knew the nature of the content before hand?

The last I heard was that his back is crook and he cant do some of his favourite characters like the midget, so he was retiring to his farm. I think he was also having trouble with humourless bastards taking offence at some of his jokes and making official complaints. Some people of course, deliberately seek to be offended so they can complain about it.
