But this isn't because 'wimmin' are better drives, it is of course, because they drive everywhere at 30 MPH, with all the verve and competent self-assuredness of Mavis Riley (Ooohh, I don't know, Rita...). Yes, it's true that they don't have as many crashes as geezers, but they sure as shit cause plenty - as they drive no nonsense chaps to distraction with their indecision, dawdling, and generally holding the fucking job up. If 'wimmin' are such good drivers, why is it that it's not 'Michelle' Schumacher taking all the chequered flags in Formula one?

Women have their virtues, but I fear that driving is not one of them.

As I'm currently taking driving lessons, and as a result am forced to drive near perfectly 100% of the time, I really notice when someone else is screwing up.
Traffic lights have changed to green but the whole queue is standing still. Why? Because the woman at the front of the queue just realised that she doesn't want to go straight, she wants to turn left, so she decides to change lane, except the lights for the people turning left are still on red. Result: she sticks on her indicator and we all have to wait until the other lights change and someone lets her into the lane before any of us in the queue behind her can move.

I'm sick of the claims as well. It's all Bullshit. But, as I'm sure anyone taking a look at any official government statistics will know, you can make anything appear to be true with statistics. Women have less car accidents than men? Perhaps they do, but you can bet any statistics never took into account that there are a lot more men on the road, and that men drive many more miles on average than women do.

That's not justice and fairness at all. If someone isn't good enough to do a job then they shouldn't be given it just because they're a woman. Well after nearly all my life as a biker all i will say is that 90% of interactions between me and car drivers has been with females ... need i say more !!!!

Actually, the selective use of statistics is what this whole "women are better drivers" arguement.

I remeber reading research a few years ago that showed that , yes, women do make fewer, claims, but that figure was grossly distorted by the fact that most married womens claims were made on a joint policy held in there husbands name, so any claim automatically showed up as a male incident.

Basing figures on acidents per 100,000 miles, women come out slightly worse.

I think Gay Bishops are the best drivers ... you hardly hear of any of them having accidents ... apart from in the back seat at weekends, but that's sexual!

Drunks are the best drivers.

20% of accidents are caused by people over the drink drive limit, which means 80% of accidents are caused by sober people.
