Just a thought. How does pet insurance work?

Car insurance- your car gets pranged bad. You go to insurance company, who has furnished you with a premium at a certain level, fully comp, 3rd party......... You get a courtesy car in the meantime.

Pet insurance. FooFootiddlekins jumps in the aquarium and drags the live toaster in with him and inadvertenly quadrospazzes himself. He's out of action for a good wee whileee. !tears!

Do you get a courtesy pet? Right sir, that's a band E cat you've got there, we can offer you a toucan, a siberian hamster, or a low-spec dolphin? Oh, but what level was your insurance- is FooFoo fully comp; or turd party, strayness and theft?

In fact, if your pet is fully comp, can it drive your car too??!! Bonzer! !cool!Mine just got her HGV licence.........

...and if he, she or it smokes, does that affect it's life insurance.....?

You've alluded to the fact you are a Scot, C, so where do you live, or if you're not here anymore, where did you originate?
