The First Full Frontal Mag

The first mag to show a full frontal nude in the UK was the old scoolboys bible Health&Efficiency in 1970, prior to this all photos showing the pubic area had to be airbrushed out and the person responsible and who risked going to prison was the editor at the time Leslie Bainbridge he later pushed the barriers even further by publishing the first open leg shots allough H&E no longer do this but once all the other mags had realised he had got away with it they all jumped on the bandwaggon, so all you porn lovers can thank this man who died a few years ago for the more liberal attitude of porn that we enjoy today even though we still moan about it, and here is a photo of him with gorgeous model of the time Rita Brown taken from the said mag.

Apparently the reason why H&E stopped doing open leg shots was because they only do one print which is sold worldwide and a lot of countrys will not allow these kinds of pix, over the years i have been fortunate to have had some of my pix published in H&E and other mags the other mags being more of the porn nature and most of these pix have come from the same shoot and i must say some of the girls are naturals at doing just nude poses and some it was hard work to get them to pose without displaying their bits, not that i complained!love!

Any idea if he left a family?

He loved SHAVEN girls,he himself was shaven,and insisted on shaving his models himself..wouldn't photograph them if they were not.

Yes he did love shaven girls and most of the pix that he published the girls were smooth and this was years before the smooth look bacame fashionable he also loved to pose naked with his models i think old Leslie had a very interesting life and he was up in his 80s when he passed away!happy!
