Tesco sell value bitter at 96p for 4 cans.4 % and very good stuff .Stock up for the world cup .Look at the tins cos they also do 2 % but thats probably not so good.No supermarket comes in close and this is a long term price not an offer.Tins are a bit of turn off but shows how much the breweries are making when well known stuff next door on the shelf is that price a can and weaker.

Tesco value bitter doesnt sound to good, I bet it gives you the trots and is full of chemicals, mate, try some DAB its 5% ,15 quid for 24 cans, and brewed in accordance to the Reinheitsgebot so very clean.........

Any own label supermarket beer can be classified as piss. Same as John Smiths, Fosters, XXXX and all other mass brewed junk we get bombarded with. Let us pray for Spitfire, Theakstons, Marstons, Adnams and Batemans, all real quality British Ales. Amen!

Singha beer - now available at Tesco. Shit hot! Don't skimp when it comes to the ale unless you're a tramp. Drink the good stuff and you'll be rewarded. Anyone had Magner's cider btw? I went off cider for years but gave this a whirl the other week. Great stuff!

Magner's is spot on but it seems to have sold out in all our local supermatkets, offies, etc. Not a cider drinker but this is a very good tipple.
