I lived in Hong Kong for much of the 1970s and whilst the Game of Death film (1978) is dire in parts, it is my personal favourite as our apartment can be clearly seen when the fighters travel to Macau, in the background are several tower blocks on the Mount Davis Road....ours is the single white one.
Secondly, the fight with Bruce(?) in his yellow tracksuit and the motorbikers was actually filmed in the underground carpark of my dads works building, Murray Building in Garden Road. It is directly opposite the HK Cathedral and off from the Hilton Hotel. My friend at the time says Enter the Dragon's scenes with the demonstrations was filmed on the tennis courts of where they all lived.
I'm not going to lie here, but neither of us saw/met Bruce Lee.....he'd died before we arrived in Hong Kong

The West London of my youth is now on dvd

I've met the man on the street............and he's a cunt

One of my faves is where Jaws comes up out of the sea as Roy Scheider is throwing meat into the water. The sheer terror on his face as he jumps and then walks back is magnificent. It's almost as if he wasn't acting there but had genuine fear etched onto his face.
